Our team is growing! We’re looking for a versatile brand and web designer to help lead our design projects. You would consider yourself a multi-disciplinary designer who is passionate and knowledgeable about ecommerce (Shopify). You are acutely aware of client and business needs, and can recommend solutions to clients and stakeholders. We are a full service studio, so we’ll need your strategic thinking and versatile design chops at every stage, from project inquiry to visual design to implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Scoping: fluent in translating stakeholder goals into projects
• Select, design, and customize Shopify themes to match clients’ brand and business requirements
• Guide a brand design process from start to finish
• Collaborate with other developers and designers
• Serve as a design lead on projects

Skills and Requirements

• Proficient with design tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Figma. 
• Strong understanding of the Shopify platform, ecommerce best practices, and Shopify apps.
• Can set up and customize a Shopify theme for a client.
• Comfortable working on your own or in a team, communicating directly with stakeholders and collaborating with other designers.
• Passionate about storytelling and are effective when communicating concepts and solutions to the client.
• You are adaptable and ensure productivity to meet project deadlines. 
• You actively participate in feedback sessions and look forward to iterating on concepts.
• Possess strong attention to detail.
