What design solves
Beautiful isn't the brief. Bought is.
The brand stops at the homepage
Editorial polish up top, template defaults everywhere else. Collection and product pages are where the brand either holds or falls apart.
Product pages that don't answer
Fit, materials, sizing, shipping, returns — the questions that stall a purchase are rarely on the page where they get asked.
Navigation built around the org chart
Menus that mirror internal categories rather than how customers describe what they want.
Mobile as an afterthought
Most of the revenue arrives on a phone. Designs that only resolve at desktop widths quietly cost the majority of sessions.
Design that can't be maintained
Beautiful comps with no system behind them mean every new campaign page drifts further from the original.
Accessibility handled last
Contrast, focus states, and keyboard flow are cheap to design in and expensive to retrofit — and legally exposed either way.
What we help with
Designed to be built. Built as designed.
01
Storefront design
Home, collection, product, cart, and account — designed as one journey, with the templates that carry revenue treated as the priority.
02
Product & collection experience
Merchandising, filtering, imagery, and copy structured so shoppers can compare, decide, and buy without leaving to research.
03
Design systems for Shopify
Components, tokens, and flexible theme sections so your team ships new pages that still look like the brand.
04
Accessible interface design
WCAG-informed contrast, focus, and interaction states designed in from the start — better for everyone, safer for you.
What's included
Everything a storefront needs to earn the sale.
Scoped to your catalog and stack — and usually paired with Shopify development, conversion optimization, or SEO.
Discovery & analytics reviewWhere sessions stall, and why
Customer journey mappingEntry points through to repeat purchase
Information architectureNavigation and taxonomy built around demand
Wireframes for key templatesStructure agreed before visual design
Both, and that's the point. Designers and developers work on the same project from discovery, so nothing gets designed that can't be built well, and nothing gets quietly simplified during development.
Will a redesign hurt our conversion rate or SEO?+
Only if it's done blind. We baseline your current performance, protect the pages and content that already earn revenue and rankings, and treat the redesign as a series of measurable changes rather than a single leap of faith.
Can we use our existing brand, or do we need a rebrand?+
We work with whatever exists. Most projects extend a brand into ecommerce rather than replace it — defining the digital half a print-first identity never covered. If the brand itself is the limitation, we'll say so.
How long does an ecommerce design project take?+
Most storefront design and build projects run 10 to 16 weeks depending on catalog complexity, integrations, and how much content is being rewritten alongside the design.
Will our team be able to edit the site afterwards?+
Yes. We build flexible theme sections and content models so marketers can build campaign pages, swap imagery, and launch products without a developer. Documentation and training are part of handover.
Do you redesign everything, or work page by page?+
Either. Full rebuilds make sense when the foundation is fighting you. Otherwise we prioritize the templates that carry the most revenue — home, collection, product, cart — and ship them incrementally.
