Reviews

What it's like to work with us.

“From our perspective, it felt like the whole team at Shopwell was personally invested in our success. After a few failed attempts at hiring an external agency to help us build our new website and brand identity, we felt incredibly supported and confident early on in the process with Shopwell's dynamic team of experts. We highly recommend them to successfully develop and launch a new website and/or brand identity. 5 stars from Swede!”

Why decks fail

Rarely a design problem. Usually an order problem.

The insight arrives too late

Slide 14 explains why the business works. Most investors have already decided how closely they're reading by slide four.

Everything is on every slide

Dense slides work as a document and fail as a presentation. A deck has to survive both, which means two versions of some slides.

Charts that hide the point

Default spreadsheet charts make the reader do the work of finding what matters. The chart should make the argument.

The ask is vague

No amount, no use of funds, no milestones it buys. Investors read that as a founder who hasn't decided.

Traction without context

Numbers with no baseline or comparison. Growth is only impressive relative to something.

Design that undermines it

Mismatched fonts, stretched logos, and stock imagery quietly signal that details aren't your strength.

What we help with

Story first. Slides second.

01

Narrative & structure

The order of the argument — what to prove first, what to cut, and where the insight belongs.

02

Copywriting

Headlines that carry the point on their own, so a skimmed deck still lands.

03

Data visualization

Traction, unit economics, and market sizing drawn so the conclusion is unmistakable — and honest.

04

Slide design & templates

Designed slides plus an editable master, because the numbers will change three times during the raise.

The arc

Every slide answers the question the last one raised.

01

Opening

What the company is, in one line, before anything else.

02

Problem

The specific pain, expensive enough that somebody pays to remove it.

03

Solution

What you built, and why it addresses the problem better than what exists.

04

Why now

What changed in the market that makes this the moment.

05

Traction

Evidence it's working, with the baseline that makes it meaningful.

06

Market

Size and reachability, built bottom-up rather than from a research headline.

07

Business model

How money is made, and what the unit economics look like at scale.

08

Team

Why these people, and what they know that others don't.

09

The ask

How much, what it buys, and which milestones it reaches.

What's included

A deck you can keep editing mid-raise.

Scoped to your round and timeline — often alongside startup branding, so the deck and the company look like the same thing.

Our process

Two to four weeks, start to send.

01

One working session on the business, the numbers, and the objections you keep hearing.

02

Structure

A slide-by-slide outline with headlines, agreed before any design happens.

03

Design

Slides and charts built out, reviewed in the format you'll actually present in.

04

Hand over

Editable master and PDF, plus one revision round once you've had real conversations.

Why Shopwell

Designers who argue about the story, not the gradient.

Story before slidesMost of the value is in restructuring the argument. Design makes a clear argument land faster; it can't rescue an unclear one.
Editable by youMasters in your tool of choice, because numbers change weekly during a raise and you shouldn't need us for that.
Honest with dataCharts that make the point without distorting the axis. Investors notice, and it costs more than it gains.
Consistent with your brandThe deck matches the site and the company. Founders who look coherent get read more carefully.

The difference

Not a slide beautifier. On purpose.

FAQ

Deciding questions, straight answers.

How long does a pitch deck take?

Two to four weeks for most decks, depending on how settled the story and the numbers are. If you're already in conversations, tell us the date and we'll tell you honestly what's achievable.

Do you write the content or just design it?

Both. Most decks arrive with the right facts in the wrong order — the narrative work usually matters more than the visual work. We restructure and rewrite alongside you, then design.

What format do we get?

A polished PDF for sending, plus an editable master in Figma, Keynote, or Google Slides — your choice. You'll be updating numbers weekly during a raise, so the file has to be yours to edit.

Can you help with the data room and follow-up materials?

Yes — appendix slides, one-pagers, memo formatting, and the deeper materials investors ask for after the first meeting. Consistency across those documents does quiet work on your credibility.

We're not raising yet. Is a deck still useful?

Often, yes. The same narrative work serves customer and partner conversations, and it forces the clarity a raise will demand later. We scope smaller for a non-fundraising deck.

Do you guarantee we'll raise?

No, and anyone who does is selling something else. Investors fund businesses, not slides. What a good deck does is remove the friction between your business and their understanding of it.
